Points that resonated with me during the latest AT course are:-

1. Learning to use my peripheral vision more.

I now notice surroundings so much more, for example,  when I’m driving, when shopping in the supermarket and also when I’m walking in the countryside.  I notice far more trees than I used to.

2.  Consciously feeling my big toe and inner heel on the ground.

This helps my balance, big time!  Balance is important as we get older and the more people I talk to, the more I realize how important balance is; especially as an otherwise healthy person can end up in hospital after a fall .

3.  Mixing with other people studying AT.

I learned a lot simply by hearing other people’s experiences with AT, their practices, theories and opinions.
